Every Friday, customers who enter NEXT™ located on Northfield Rd., are treated to what seems like the soundtrack to their shopping experience. Hosted by NEXT™ and its staff of fashion forward young guns, guest DJ's deliver a mixture of classic joints with new school tracks, as you search for the right fit. This particular Friday, was scored by none other than the Chief Rocka himself, DJ Q-NICE. Q, a staple of both the underground scene and commercial, has headlined a many events and this one was no different in his delivery! Always knowing the crowd at hand Q has no problem with vocal interaction, to show em he means business. I noticed everyone from staff to shopper was in sync with the music, and even did their little 1, 2, thing to show their approval and appreciation. I also ran into Harlan from SIX19SIX, who just so happens to be throwing the I AM HIP-HOP event at Anatomy Nightclub, and Paul Sadler Jr. of YBM Clothing. Paul is at the forefront of Cleveland Fashion Designers, and is recognized in every major U.S. market and abroad. I encourage everyone to go at least once to get away from the dull ambiance most retailers embody, and I promise that you will return again.
